01 // PROJECT OVERVIEW
AZIE.AI is a mental health monitoring app that uses the assistance of AI services to predict user moods and provide efficient care with a personalized approach.

I had the opportunity to work with AZIE.AI's Product Development team to build the necessary requirements for minimum viable product.
As a contracted UX/UI Designer, I developed user research work, content strategy, necessary graphic designs, and high fidelity clickable prototypes.
My Team
Danielle Rosenthal, Vladislav Murygin
The Problem
In a market where more and more young men are experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, and mental health issues, the need for appropriate and affordable resources are only growing. With the rise of AI based technologies and the ever expanding potential for the intersection between technology and daily life, it’s imperative to capitalize on this resource for the good of our users, and prevent the potential of negative effects from spreading.
How might we utilize AI technology to provide mental health care that is available around the clock, affordable, and resourceful, all while respecting the privacy, pride, and comforts of our users?
02 // RESEARCH AND INSIGHTS
User Research
Market research narrowed down some of the specificities of the target user.
Furthermore, a broad in-person survey of 100 randomized users within the demographic supported the market research regarding the target user. Specific research points that correlated with data amongst young men were classified into niche categories that helped pinpoint the strategies and services the application would focus on providing.
03 // MOBILE PROTOYPE ITERATIONS

Initial Prototype

Updated Prototype

Final Prototype
The final prototype, designed with the team's lead product designer, was able to achieve a much more satisfactory aesthetic that matched the brand image that was intended, and was able to deliver on much more of the content strategy that was ideated. Unlike the first two prototypes, focused on being a more simple relaxation app, the final prototype pushed for a more significant role that accurately reflected the content strategy intended for the MVP.
04 // BRAND AND STANDARDS

I took the original final prototype and modified it to follow standardized font sizes, reducing the prototype from 21 sizes to 7, and also incorporated the specific typography for iOS devices when necessary.
The navigation bar, image sizing, and other iOS components were also updated to follow standards that made the transition to full stack development much smoother.
Industry Standards
My role in the final prototype was working with industry standards. In order to better integrate the prototype for a more direct, smooth transition to its iOS development stage, it was necessary to grow more familiar with the industry standards of app development.
Working with Vladislav allowed me to understand what was required in professional grade design projects that made the step beyond what I had grown familiar with simply working on my own and with personal projects.
05 // SOCIAL MEDIA GRAPHICS

As an extension of the mobile and web work, I also had the opportunity to create the social media templates for AZIE.AI across Instagram, TikTok, X (formally Twitter), LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest, and Snapchat.
06 // FURTHER THOUGHTS
My work as a UX/UI Designer with the product team at AZIE.AI allowed me to develop practical, applicable, and professional knowledge of the career field within the realm of UX and product design. I learned an incredible amount in a short time because of the exposure I had to familiarizing myself with industry standards in order to sufficiently deliver on the necessities of an MVP, to the full-stack team, iOS developers, and the marketing team.
